Our Terms & Conditions
Privacy Page
Last Updated: September 1, 2025
While our events are a lot of fun, we take your privacy seriously.
The Quick Version
We collect your info so we can get you into events, keep you updated, and make sure everything runs smoothly. We use Eventbrite and HubSpot to store it safely, and we only ever share it with people directly involved in your event (like the venue). We won’t sell your data to a foreign superpower, because we don’t know how to. You can ask us what info we have, update it, or ask us to delete it at any time. Simple as that.
The Full Version
What We Collect
When you sign up for our events or drop us your details, we might ask for:
- Your name and contact info (so we can actually reach you)
- Event preferences and registration details
- Payment info (only if it’s a ticketed event)
- Anything else you choose to share with us in forms or messages
How We Use Your Info
We only use your details to:
- Get you signed up and ready for events
- Send you important event updates (like doors open at 7pm, not 6pm)
- Help you out if you need support
- Make our events even better next time
- Tick the right boxes for legal requirements
Where It Lives
Your info is stored safely in:
- Eventbrite (for registrations & tickets)
- HubSpot (for marketing & keeping in touch)
Both are trusted platforms that keep things secure.
Who We Share With
The only time we share your details is when it’s absolutely needed for the event, like:
- The venue where the event’s happening
- Event service providers who need it to make the event run smoothly
That’s it. No random third parties. We don’t even like third parties.
Keeping It Safe
We do our best to keep your info safe from prying eyes. Only the right people (our team and essential partners) have access.
Your Rights
You’re in control. You can:
- Ask us what info we have about you
- Say “no thanks” to our emails anytime
- Ask us to delete your info (unless we legally need to keep it)
Just drop us a line at hello@capacitycrowd.com.au and Patricia will do the deed.
Cookies and Website Stuff
Yes, our site might use cookies (the digital kind, sadly not the delicious kind). They help us understand how people use our site and improve the experience. You can manage cookies in your browser settings.
Updates to This Policy
